Staff Biographies

Dr. Gary McCutcheon, owner and founder of the All Pets animal clinic, is a 1984 graduate of Tuskegee University, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Prior to this, he graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1978, and West Virginia University in 1981. He and his wife, Genny, live in Bridgeport and are the parents of three children: Jordan, Kristen, and Gary lll (Trey). They have three pets: a dog named Lucy, a dog named Isabelle, and a cat named Pop Tart. Dr. McCutcheon spends his free time teaching and attending Bible studies, hunting with his father and son, attending various sporting events around the area, and reading. He finds his staff to be the greatest strength of his clinic, and he knows the entire team provides great service while educating clients about pet care. Dr. McCutcheon states, "our goal is to provide quality health care for pets in a pleasant and professional atmosphere."

Dr. Jennifer Canfield, associate veterinarian at the All Pets Animal Clinic, graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998 with her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She attended Washington Irving High School until 1990, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from West Virginia University in 1994. She and her husband, Michael Canfield, live in Nutter Fort with their daughters Theresa and Alexandra, and dogs Sophie, Beatrice, and Dub. Dr. Canfield divides her spare time between teaching the violin, playing the viola, cooking, gardening, and reading anything she can get her hands on. She feels very fortunate to have attained an associate position in such an inspiring environment, where superior medicine and caring customer service are second nature to each and every staff member.

Dianna Evans, Registered Veterinary Technician and Assistant Practice Manager, received her degree in Applied Science in 1992 and her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Administration from Fairmont State University; she is also a 1988 graduate of South Harrison High School. She and her husband, Mike, live in Mount Claire with their children Gaige and Lauren and their little boxer Meg (named after WVU basketball star Meg Bulger). Dianna enjoys the atmosphere among the staff and clients at All Pets, minor irritations and all. She spends her free time watching sporting events of all kinds, including those in which her children participate. She loves all types of music but has a very special place in heart for the group Alabama, “…who I hope to meet someday.”

Melissa Snyder, kennel worker at All Pets Animal Clinic, graduated from Liberty High School. She can usually be found very hard at work in the clinic, doing anything from comforting a homesick boarder to tempting a finicky eater and anything in between. In her spare time, Missy enjoys sports, crafts, candy making, fishing, and hunting. She lives in Mount Claire with her husband Donnie and son Anthony, two cats, B.B. and Tootson, and her Sheltie, Panda.

Cheryl Nicholson, a Registered Veterinary Technician, received her degree in Applied Science from Fairmont State College; she is also a graduate of South Harrison High School. She lives with her husband, David, their two sons, Cory and Quintin, their dog, Annie, and their 2 cats, Peanut Butter and Crackers. The thing she enjoys most about working at All Pets Animal Clinic is the relaxed atmosphere and having a great boss. Cheryl spends her free time making jewelry, playing chimes at her church, singing in her church choir, and running the kids to their many functions.

Inday Tassos, receptionist, is a graduate of North Marion High School and Fairmont State College. She lives in Clarksburg with her husband, Chris, and their children, Gregory and Jennifer. The one thing she enjoys most about working at the clinic? “The kitchen,” she jokes, “oh, and working for a great boss. Co-workers you can get along with are a plus, not to mention our clients, who are very friendly and caring people.” Inday has a truly photographic memory. She can remember what each client buys every month, or what procedure was performed on his or her pet two years ago. “But ask me what I did two minutes ago- forget it!”

Liza Surock, veterinary technician, graduated from South Harrison High school in 1997. She and her husband, Josh, share their farm with many pets, including horses, goats, cats, dogs, and one very vocal parrot. She enjoys horseback and four wheeler riding, hiking, hunting, skeet shooting, fishing, boating, and touring state parks.

Rebecca Hennessy, veterinary technician, is a 1993 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High school and WVU Parkersburg. She spends most of her time at the clinic keeping things lively as well as pampering her many favorite patients. In her off hours, Becky cares for her own pets, which include dogs, cats, and Andy the cockatoo, and loves to scrapbook and garden.
